FC12T5 Circline Light Bulbs
FC12T5 fluorescent lamps are the round bulbs that are used in many types of newer fixtures. This is the 40 watt version and comes in a choice of colors. Many round fixtures use these in kitchens, hallways, apartments or anywhere it's important to get a lot of light in the space without larger light fixtures. This is a very different kind of circline light bulb because it has a thinner diameter than the older types that were available. This also operates on an electronic ballast unlike the older type which operated on something that was called a magnetic ballast. This is much more energy-efficient and it does last a lot longer. With this you also get a choice of color temperatures from a soft white 3000K to a cool white 4000K light color. So regard fewer of where you may be using these, whether it's in a home or in a business, you should be able to match up colors to what you have now with other types of light fixtures. They're easy to replace because there's only one way they can connect to the socket.
